 Volunteers Needed – Help Us Grow Girl Scouting! 

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to represent Girl Scouts at upcoming Elementary School Open House events in Hendry and Glades County!

This is a simple and impactful way to help girls and families in your community discover all the opportunities Girl Scouts has to offer.

As a Girl Scout volunteer, you have the power to open doors to new experiences that help girls discover just how strong, capable, and amazing they truly are. You’ll be more than a helper—you’ll be a cheerleader, a guide, and a mentor, supporting girls as they build confidence, learn new skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Picture the smiles, the excitement, and the moments of pride—those are the experiences you’ll share together at Girl Scouts.

There are so many ways to get involved, based on your interests and availability:
Engagement Volunteer – Looking for a flexible, short-term opportunity? Get involved in the community by assisting with events, hosting info booths, or supporting open houses throughout the year.
Programs Volunteer – Help girls explore programs in STEM, outdoors, life skills, and experience the fun of traditions.
Troop Leader / Co-Leader – Lead and inspire a group of girls as they build friendships, grow together, and form connections that can last a lifetime.
Troop Support Volunteer – Lend a helping hand with activities like driving, planning events, meeting help, or supporting finances—helping keep everything running smoothly.
Service Unit Volunteer – Mentor and support fellow adult volunteers as they guide their own Girl Scout troops.
